Zagreb Snowflakes at the 49th Golden Spin

Last week, Zagreb was once again hometown, of the 49th Golden Spin. Competitors from all over the world came at this ISU figure skating competition. The Croatian Team Zagreb Snowflakes had the opportunity to present their two new programs.

Last week, Zagreb was once again hometown, of the 49th Golden Spin. Competitors from all over the world came at this ISU figure skating competition. The Croatian Team Zagreb Snowflakes had the opportunity to present their two new programs.

The opening ceremony of the Golden Spin was held on Thursday the 9th of December and the best part of the competition - the traditional exhibition was held on Sunday. Some of the best skaters and winners of the Golden Spin showed their programs and it was beautiful to watch.

Also, Team Zagreb Snowflakes Senior skated the short program (on the opening ceremony) and the free program during the exhibition. « It was such an amazing feeling to skate in front of a crowded ice rink. We definitely enjoyed it! », said the team’s members. The audience was able to check their new silver sparkling dresses!

The 2016 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb champions are: Oleksii Bychenko from Israel (Men), and the Italian Carolina Kostner (Ladies), Nicole Della Monica / Matteo Guarise (Pairs) and Charlène Guignard / Marco Fabbri (Ice Dance).

At this figure skating competition, Croatia had representatives in two categories – Man (Nicholas Vrdoljak) and Pair (Lana Petranovi? and Antonino SOUZA-KORDYERU).
