From 25 to 27 December, the 5th Stage of Russian Cup took place in Perm, Russia. 21 teams competed in 3 categories – Junior, Advanced Novice, and Basic Novice – during this Cup of Perm Region.

In Juniors, the 1st place and so the gold medal has been earned by team Piruet from Orenburg. They reached 127.18 points. It’s 17 points more than Team Skif from Nizniy Novgorod which placed 2nd. Orlenok from Perm took the 3rd place with 101.91 points.

By Advanced Novices, the best team was Kazanochka from Kazan. Aquamarin from Omsk earned the silver medal this year. For the bronze, the victory went to Aquarel from Kurgan.

Team Olimpia-1 from Ekaterinburg won the gold in Basic Novice's field. Team Aquamarin-2 from Omsk finished 2nd and the skaters from Uralochka (Pervouralsk) were 3rd.

This competition was the last stage of Russian Cup this season. In April, the city of Moscow will host the Final Stage of Russian Cup. And of course, each team in Russia is looking forward to competing at the Russian National Championships. This event will take place in the middle of January.
