No time to rest for the Italian synchro skaters. Last Sunday, teams were called to compete once again in Bolzano, at the famous ice rink Palaonda for the first interregional Synchronized skating competition.

For the national categories, four Basic Novice and one Advanced Novice teams took part in the competition, representing different areas throughout the country.

The only Advanced Novice team, Ice on Fire, showed a nice program but didn't reach the score earned the day before in Trento. The team got a total of 33.26 points.

In the Basic Novice segment, there were some surprises. The final standings were very different from the last competitions and Olimpia Team from Como took the gold medal.

This competition was also for Open categories. In these fields, there were five Juvenile, seven Mixed Age Under 15 five Mixed Age Over 15 and one Adult teams participating in the event.

This was the debut for the Ladybirds Mixed Age team. The girls were all anxious for their first competition, but all the effort paid off and at the end of the competition their coaches said that the athletes did a nice job enduring the pressure and giving their best. They earned a total of 20.12 points.
