Speed, artistic or synchronized skating... The teams of the Montreal area in Canada can now skate at Place Bell, a complex recently inaugurated in Laval. Do you want to visit?

On August 31, the inauguration of Place Bell took place in Laval (CAN). This is a multifunctional complex comprising a 10,000-seat amphitheater transforming into a theater, an Olympic ice rink with 2,500 seats and a community ice rink can accommodate 500 spectators. "With Place Bell, Laval is a milestone in the heart of downtown. It was built according to the rules of art. Moreover, Place Bell meets the needs expressed by sports associations which have long awaited equipment of this level, " said the Mayor of Laval, Marc Demers.

The first synchro competition organized in January!

It is with great pleasure that the CPA Laval club will organize the first synchronized skating competition in this building on January 13 and 14, 2018.
The Laval Synchro Invitation replaces the competition that took place until last season at the Laval Coliseum. This competition marks the 2nd important meeting for Quebec teams.

The first meeting being the St Hubert Invitation on December 9 and 10, on the South Shore of Montreal. All categories are expected, from Beginners to Seniors to Novice, Intermediate and Open categories. This is an important step in their qualification path for the regional championships.

The capacity of this new rink will require a large organization from the CPA Laval and their volunteers but I can also attract a large number of teams from Quebec and why not neighboring teams from Ontario. It is also very likely that it will attract new spectators who do not know synchronized skating yet. This is a great news for the development of our sport that a major competition succeeds in Quebec.
