This is an important weekend in Finland. The synchro teams are competing in Jyväskylä for the second official qualifications of the season. On Saturday, Novices skated their free and Seniors and Juniors presented their short program.

The second qualification in Finland on Saturday evening ended with the joy of the Team Unique. They won the Senior short competition with 71.45 points. The skaters put their souls into the beautiful music Nocturne and skated with concentration reaching the best technical segment and component scores of the day. Marigold Ice Unity was the second earning scores 68.71. They are leading only with 0.36 points Helsinki Rockettes which will start on Sunday from the third place having 68.35 points. There was one unfortunate fall in the program. Lumineers got the fourth place and 56.46 points.

The panel was severe and precise in Junior competition too. Only the leading team Dream Edges ran over 50 points earning scores 51.08. They skated very beautifully their Vivaldi's theme Autumn and despite two falls in the intersection, they were the winners of the short competition. Team Mystique was the second and got, with their cheerful Just Girls programme, 49.92 points. The third was Team Fintastic with 49.81 points and just behind, with almost the same scores, Musketeers who reached the fourth place and got scores 49.75. All the four teams are so close to each other that everything is possible on Sundays’ free program. The competition will be extremely exciting.
