Team Berlin 1 earned its 23rd consecutive national title in Frankfurt

Last weekend, the German teams competed at their national championships in Frankfurt am Main. In Senior and Junior divisions, Team Berlin took once again the gold medal. Skating Graces did the best score in Novices.

After a short program skated to « Cabaret » and a creative free program called «Creepy Dolls», Team Berlin 1 earned another national gold medal on December 16th, 2017. The skaters did a total of 154.16 points. The other Senior team, Skating Graces, placed second with a total of 122.69 points. This team from Chemnitz received a deduction of 1 point for their short program’s costumes.

In the Junior field, only one team was competing. With one fall in the short program, Team Berlin Juniors earned a total of 103.80 points for the two programs.

Skating Graces are the new German champions in the Novice division. Despite one fall in the No Hold Element, the team has earned 40.52 points during its free program. Team Berlin Novices finished with the silver medal (38.85 points).
