As the 2018 Winter Olympics are now officially opened, Social Media Crew of ISU Mozart Cup has created a short video to present synchronized skating. Interview with Theresa Marka, the editor of the Mozart Cup video.
«The Video was edited by me, But it was a team creation from the Social Media Crew of ISU Mozart Cup, which consists of Theresa Katzlinger, Anna Lanz, Julia Kiefer and me, » Theresa Marka said. « The goal is to get the word of synchronized skating out there. We wanted to show the world what synchro skaters are capable of and that we deserve to be part of the Olympics, » she adds.
We can jump, we can kick, we can lift and we can carve!
«In our video, you can see side by side fractions of sports that are already Olympic next to synchro elements. It shows that this sport is just as spectacular as all of the other Olympic disciplines, we are just missing the appealingness of the audience, when comparing to the other sports, » explains Theresa Marka.
« I really do believe that our dream will finally come true and synchronized skating will become an Olympic discipline in 2022. Our video is here to support the matter and maybe our video can influence the IOCs decision and show them that we really deserve to be part of the Olympics! »
