The first Cup of Dresden took place in Germany

33 teams participated last weekend in the first edition of the Cup of Dresden in Germany. This new event brought together teams in the categories Juvenile, Novice Non-ISU, Mixed Age and Adult.

With ten participating teams, the Mixed Age division was one of the biggest categories. Saxony Ice Pearls finished in first place (58.81 points), while another German team, New Horizons, placed second (45.62) and had one fall in the Pivot Block. Representing the Czech Republic, Hot Lines claimed the bronze medal after a clean program and The Crystals, also from CZE, finished fourth. Teams from Austria and Poland also skated in this division.

Goldies won the Adult event with an amazing free program and a score of 34.48. The team had the highest technical element score of the division. Dressed with red black and yellow dresses, Cool Dreams finished in second with 30.18. The Czech All Stars grab third place. Team Berlin Adult finished in fourth.



In the youngest divisions, Germany dominated the Juvenile division. Skating Graces won the event with a total of 29.45. The scores between the second and third place were very tight. Ice Fire Juvenile from Poland earned the silver medal with 27.98 points and Kometa placed third with 0,97 point less.

Another German team won in the Novice Non-ISU. Saxony Ice Pearls impressed the audience with a clean program and a level 2 for the Pivot Block (29.45). Kometa (CZE) scored 34.85 and finished with the silver title. Ice Atoms claimed third with 31.33. Nine teams competed in this division.
