Several major events will be organized again next season. According to the ISU calendar, the first international competitions for Senior teams will start in October with Shanghai Trophy (Invitational) in China and also the famous Finlandia Trophy in Espoo, Finland.

A new Challenger Series Synchronized Skating, that will consist of up to five international events linked together, will also take place for the first time. As a reminder, the following competitions will serve as stages this season: California Cup (USA), Asia Trophy (HKG), Leon Lurje Trophy (SWE), French Cup (FRA) and Spring Cup (ITA).

Each Challenger Series competition will give teams an opportunity to earn World Standing points. Additionally, they will allow teams and officials to prepare to participate in the 2020 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships and ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships that will take place respectively in Nottingham (GBR) mid-March and Lake Placid (USA) at the beginning of April, write the ISU.

Other things to know for the upcoming season: the Mozart Cup and the Berlin Cup will not be organized. «All of our energy is being put into the organisation of #EuroFigure this season! », said the Mozart Cup Organizing Committee that will be organizing the European Figure Skating Championships in Graz, Austria, this season.
