For its 20th anniversary, the World Synchronized Skating Championships will come back to the USA in April 2020. Opened on October 8, ticket sales are going well. The Organizing Committee announced that 4,000 tickets have already been sold.

"We’ve sold 4,000 tickets in the lower bowl," explained the local organizing committee that utilized group names to ensure that fans will be able to sit with their team, organization or group. "More than 2,000 still remain and are available for purchase," added the organizers.

The remaining tickets are for the upper bowl. Also note that a limited number of tickets in obstructed seats of the lower bowl are still available, according to U.S. Figure Skating.

Does everything work now for the purchase of tickets?
"Yes, there was a small issue on the first on-sale day, but it was quickly addressed and all orders were accounted for," assured the organizing committee. "We are very excited to play host to the event in April!"
Fifth time in the U.S.
This will be the first time that the city of Lake Placid, New York, will organize the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships. The event is set for April 3-4, 2020, at Herb Brooks Arena, a multi-purpose arena. The world-best synchro teams will compete there to claim World medals.

The U.S. has already hosted the event five times, most recently in 2017 in Colorado Springs. So twenty years after the first edition in 2000 in Minneapolis, the USA will play host to a new great event next year!
