The 25th Cape Cod Synchronized Skating Classic took place in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The 73 participating teams (from the U.S.) laid everything they had on the ice.

Let's start with the IJS Events (in the USA, synchro teams can be judged according to two different systems).

In the Junior division, two teams competed. Team Excel, representing the Skating Club of Boston, claimed the gold medal by winning both Short and Free events. Synchroettes picked up the silver medal.

The Novice category, Team Image from New York captured the gold medal, after delivering a strong performance (67.68). Washington's team DC EDGE finished with 58.30 and grabbed the silver. Star Mates earned a total score of 54.81 and secured the bronze. Carolina Ice Synchro and Synchroettes completed the Novice rankings.

The Intermediate victory went to another Team Image (White Plains FSC). The team won the field with 49.73. The 2018 Cape Cod champions Ice Mates followed in second place, earning a score of 46.91. DC EDGE got the bronze medal with 43.23. Team Excel received the pewter medal (4th place), Mirror Images finished in 5th, Chesapeake Synchro placed 6th, Steel City Blades stood in 7th place and Team Believe came 8th.

Team Excel clinched victory in the Collegiate event (54.38), followed by the University of Massachusetts that got a total score of 40.13 for the free skate.

Mini Mates became the only Juvenile team to break 40 points. They won this event with a score of 42.72. DC EDGE and Team Image finished also on the podium.

The Adult victory went to Esprit de Corps (53.02). Team Excel from Boston earned 46.03 and secured second place. Team Image received a total of 42.73 to take third.

Esprit de Corps also won the Masters competition (39.40). The Colonials got 28.14 and arrived in second.

Many synchro teams also competed in the 6.0 events. DC EDGE Blue got the gold in the Preliminary division, Munchkins and Shooting Stars won the two Pre-Juvenile competitions, Synchro Stars was the winner in the Open Juvenile field, Empire Edge took the Open Adult division and The Colonials won the Open Masters' gold medal.
