The synchro season for Russian teams started this weekend in Moscow. It was the 1st stage of Russian Cup – Open Championship of Moscow. 29 teams from different cities participated in this competition.

In Senior category only 2 teams competed: Paradise from Saint-Petersburg and Team Crystal from Moscow. Paradise showed his new programs – short « Listen » by Beyonce and free « Warsaw Concerto » by Richard Addinsell. As usual, his performances were gorgeous. The skaters won the competition and earned 204.5 points. Team Crystal skated confidently and finished with the second place earning a total of 150.3 points.

The best team in Junior category was Crystal Ice from Moscow. His programs were very interesting and exciting. The short program was on « Angels and Demons » theme and the free program is called « The forgotten Toys ». Team Sunrise-1 from Saint-Petersburg took silver medals. The team performed a beautiful short program on « Marilyn Monroe » and an interesting free program on the music from the movie « Bandidas ». Team Zemchuzhina from Toliatti earned the bronze medal.

Sunrise-2 won the competition in Advanced Novice. The skaters performed perfectly and earned 63.58 points. Ariada from Volzsk took the second place, Nika from Novouralsk finished at the third place.

Team Fleur de Lis from Gubkin was the best one in Basic Novice. Sozvezdie took the second place, Mechta is the third. Both teams represented the city of Moscow.
