    "I discovered synchronized skating when the world championships were taken place in Helsinki in 2011. After that, thanks to my two skating sisters, I have had an opportunity to go to competitions around Finland. Nowadays I’m a big fan and have been working amongst social media in a local skating club for a few years."


    What does synchronized skating mean to you?

    "It is art and sport at the same time and that is the main reason why I love it."

Team Mystique (FIN): ”It’s really cool to enter the competition!”

Team Mystique from Finland is participating in the Junior Worlds at the end of the week. It will be the first time for this team and their team captains Anna Kivekäs and Anna Loimaranta together with team’s oldest skater Iitu Linna talk about their preparation for the event. The team is excited about what is to come and is pleased with the results of the season.

Team Fintastic (FIN) is ready for the Worlds: ”We are definitely aiming for the podium”

Junior Worlds are just around the corner. World’s best Junior teams will compete at Nottingham, United Kingdom from March 13 to 14. Team Fintastic will be Team Finland 2 at the competition. Their team captains Emma Kaskinen and Karita Auvinen talk about their preparation for the event.

Helsinki Rockettes skated to a narrow lead over Team Unique and won the Nationals

The weekend could not have been more exciting in Espoo, where the 2020 Finnish Nationals took place from February 29 to March 1. Second after the short program, Helsinki Rockettes won the Senior National title and skated their way to the Worlds. Team Fintastic won the Junior competition which was extremely tight.

Second section of Finnish teams competed at the second Interclub-level Qualification Competition

The second interclub-level qualification competition was held in Helsinki, Finland from February 8 to 9. On Sunday, teams in Adult, Basic Novice, Beginner, Juvenile, ISU Master and Junior B categories competed.
