"I am from Prague, where I study diplomacy and international politics. Prague is also the place where I started with synchronized skating with team Kometa 14 years ago. During this period the team developed a lot - from novices via national junior team to seniors. Last season I skated with Austrian national team and we made it even to the World Championships! Now I will skate with Czech adult team Ice Chickas. Beside synchro I like the cinematography, hiking and learning languages – I speak Czech, German, French, English and Swedish."

What does synchronized skating mean to you?

"Synchronized skating helped me to develop many skills: defend the weaker ones, cooperate with anyone, present my opinion and listen to ideas of others. I learned when it is helpful to rise up and when one can achieve more while remaining silent."
