Scores are incredibly tight after short programs

Team Paradise, Marigold IceUnity and Nexxice swept the small medals Friday evening in Helsinki where the 2019 World Championships takes place this weekend. Here is, team after team, the recap of this amazing event.

2019 Senior Worlds: Let’s present the teams!

The ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships will take place in Helsinki (FIN) on Friday and Saturday. A total of 24 teams representing 20 countries have been entered for the Championships. Let’s present the participating teams.

Worlds 2019: "We have sold a total of 14000 tickets so it is a full house!"

The excitement will be intense this weekend in Helsinki, Finland. The city hosts the Senior World synchronized skating Championships. In total, 24 teams from around the world will compete on Friday and Saturday in a crowded stadium. While several teams are already on site, we just take a few minutes to speak with the Organizing Committee.

Why no Swedish teams will participate at Worlds

Often considered as one of the best nations in synchronized skating, Sweden will not send any team this year to the World Championships in Helsinki. After the withdrawal of the famous Team Surprise last October, the Swedish federation explains their position.

Team Paradise (RUS): "After Stockholm, we made some changes in the team"

Bronze medallist last year, Team Paradise from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, will be one of the strong contenders at the 2019 World Championships in Finland. Two times World Champion (in 2016 and 2017), the team will try to get the gold this year.
