Synchronised Skating on "Dancing on Ice"

It was an exciting episode tonight on Dancing on Ice with 5x world Champions, Marigold Ice Unity, performing a stunning routine to "Take That", broadcasting synchronised skating to the nation.

The current World Champions flew early Friday morning to London. The team from Helsinki (FIN) will be part of the upcoming British TV show Dancing on Ice.

Nexxice Senior dominated the 2019 Trophy d’Ecosse

Sunday saw the close of the weekend’s competition at the Trophy d’Ecosse in Dumphries Ice Bowl. Several synchro teams from around the world competed against each other and traveled back home with new medals.

New British Champions crowned in Sunday’s competition

Sunday was the final day of the 2019 British Championships held in the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham. With seniors and juniors performing their long programmes with only a few points between them after the short, competition was fierce to win the title of British Champion.

The British Championships opened on Saturday at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham with 852 skaters competing in 52 teams. Today also marks the first time that the event has been live streamed on BBC sport, broadcast to the entire UK; a historic development for synchronised skating in Britain.

If everything seemed to be done after the short programs, Saturday's competition brought a lot of surprises. On the second competition day of World Junior Championship, the 21 teams continued their race with their all-out effort. The first 4 teams from Short Program kept their positions while middle-tier teams’ positions have shifted much.

21 Junior teams are preparing for the Worlds

The 2018 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships lands at Zagreb’s Dom Sportova in Croatia on 16-17 March. The competition will see the best 21 teams competing for the most prestigious titles.
