The second day of competition at the 2020 World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Nottingham (GBR) saw Team Fintastic from Finland skate an excellent free program and take gold in front of the two Russian teams, Junost and Crystal Ice.

The most expected event of the Junior synchro world started on Friday. Despite all the difficulties and obstacles, World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships 2020 is taking place in Nottingham right now. 19 teams arrived in the UK to do their best and present the result of hard work they have done during the season 2019-2020.

Let's present the junior teams that participate in the 2020 ISU Junior World Championships which take place in Nottingham, GBR, Friday and Saturday.

Russian teams take gold in day 2 and 3 at Steel City Trophy

Sunday and Monday saw the culmination of the ISU event and also the club international competition. Throughout the weekend, there was a great atmosphere in the stadium, with teams and spectators alike being dazzled by some superb skating in the ISU categories. Monday also saw some brand new teams step onto the ice and some healthy rivalry from the more established teams!


Coronavirus: three teams cancel their participation in the WJSSC

The spread of the coronavirus around the world has an impact on the upcoming ISU events. The ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Nottingham, planned on March 13-14 in Great Britain remain scheduled but three teams have decided that they will no longer participate in the competition.

Crystal Ice dominated on day one of Sheffield Steel City Trophy

The second ever Steel City Trophy kicked off this weekend 7-9th March, in Sheffield, England, with teams from around the world, in a variety of categories, coming to compete at an Olympic sized rink on the last weekend before Junior Worlds. After a hugely successful inaugural competition last year, Steel City Trophy has evolved quickly, attracting a record 74 teams in this year’s ISU and Club International Competition.

New Scottish Champions crowned at Trophy D'Ecosse

The three day Trophy D’Ecosse kicked started this weekend at Dumfries Ice Bowl Leisure Complex, Dumfries, Scotland, comprising of 44 teams. Encompassing the Scottish Championships, teams were also vying for their national title. Friday and Saturday saw the Junior and Senior categories and the non-ISU categories were interspersed throughout the weekend.

French Cup 2020: The free programs gave the goosebumps!

The Ile Lacroix ice rink was full, fans were singing and dancing to cheer on their favourite teams... The 26th edition of the French Cup ended on Saturday evening in Rouen, in the north of France. Recap of this second day of competition.
