Italy once again charmed several synchronized skating teams who competed last weekend in Milan in Advanced Novice, Junior and Senior. The competition also celebrated the 25th anniversary of its creation.
The 2018 World Champions Marigold IceUnity is traveling to Japan this week. The famous team from Finland has been invited by a Japanese television to shoot a new year show. The 26th Tokyo Synchronized Skating Open Competition took place on 2 December 2018 in Nishitokyo of western Tokyo metropolis. This year a total of five teams from Tokyo Metropolis and Saitama Prefecture competed in Juvenile, Intermediate and Senior categories.

Finnish Marigold IceUnity defeats reigning two-time champion Russian Team Paradise and secures top spot of the podium on Saturday evening in the Ericsson Globe of Stockholm. After the short programs on Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their free program on Sunday. By the Juniors, Idel of Russia maintained their first place and the top 3 has not changed. In the senior category, Team Surprise won the gold title.
The 2018 Spring Cup takes place this weekend in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. On Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their short program. Novice teams competed with the free program.
The 25th Tokyo Synchronized Skating Competition took place on 19 November 2017 in Nishitokyo of westen Tokyo metropolis. The competition was open to synchro teams under Tokyo Skating Union or its cooperative prefectures. And in all categories, the teams skated only their Free Programs.Our familiar face Jingu Ice Messengers entered the competition at Senior, Novice andJuvenile levels as the sole competitors at respective level.
And the gold... for Team Paradise! The Russian team won on Saturday night the ISU Seniors World Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs, USA. The Finnish Marigold Ice Unity took the silver medal at a few tenths of a point and the Canadian Nexxice received the bronze.
