Saturday's competition in Salzburg was breathtaking! Until the last second, nobody knew who was going to win the Senior competition. The revelation came from Canada with the new incredible team Nova who did a perfect performance and even beat the 2018 World Champions Marigold IceUnity. Here is the story of an amazing evening in Austria. 


Crystal Ice Junior and Team Unique lead at Mozart Cup

In a highly competitive senior category, there’s no room for mistakes when you’re wearing an outfit like Team Unique’s (FIN). On Friday night, they showed the competition who’s really ‘wearing the pants’ in Eisarena Salzburg, earning the top spot in the short program with 84.30 points. 

Russia found finally its 2019 National Champions

The second day of Russian National Championship was full of different kind of emotions. Joy and happiness, hope and faces, tears and disappointments – all of it and much more were in Yoshkar-Ola this Sunday.

One of the biggest battles of the season started this Saturday in Russia. Thousands of synchro lovers brought together in Yoshkar-Ola to support their favorite team! The first day of the Russian Nationals was exciting and really eventful. 


27 Russian teams skated in Novouralsk for the second national competition

Those last weekends were interesting in the synchro world. In Russia, the synchro teams lived a few days ago the second leg of the Russian Cup held in Novouralsk. 27 teams competed in 3 different categories: Novice B, Novice A, and Junior. This new stage was also a great opportunity to set new season scoring records.

The new programs have been presented in Russia!

Autumn is the most expected time of the year for all the Synchro lovers in Russia. The reason for that is presented in the fact that the competition season 2018-2019 was recently launched in Russia. Everyone was looking forward to performing at the first Stage of the Russian Cup, which took place in Moscow from the 3rd to the 4th of November. During those days the ice palace Dream permeated with a festive atmosphere and the stands were joyful.

The new season is coming! The first international competition, Finlandia Trophy, will introduce a new team from Russia. It’s time to know more about them. Olga Badyaeva is the coach of Crystal Ice teams, she accepted to answer our questions.

On the second competition day of World Junior Championship, the 21 teams continued their race with their all-out effort. The first 4 teams from Short Program kept their positions while middle-tier teams’ positions have shifted much.


Junior Worlds: Russia and USA dominated the Short Programs

The first competition day of the 2018 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships took place on Friday evening in Zagreb, Croatia. The 2017 Junior World Champions Team Junost from Russia finished atop of the competition. Skyliners (USA) trails the leader by three points in second place, while Crystal Ice  (RUS) also is provisionally third.

For the Junior and Senior divisions, the 2018 Mozart Cup took place on Friday and Saturday in the scenic city of Salzburg in Austria. Les Suprêmes (CAN) bring home two medals, in gold and bronze. Teams from Russian, from the USA, and Finland completed the podiums. 

Sunrise-2, Junost and Paradise are the 2018 Russian champions

The national championships of Russia held in Yoshkar-Ola this Friday and Saturday. 27 teams competed in 3 categories: senior, junior and advanced novice. Besides the very high level of the novices, this competition also selected the senior and junior teams who will skate at the next World Championships.

Russian teams slide towards their Nationals

The national championships of Russia will start on Friday in Yoshkar-Ola. 27 teams will compete in 3 different categories: senior, junior and advanced novice. Senior and junior teams will qualify for the World Championships. Junior and advanced novice teams have already been selected during the first part of the season. Only the 12 best teams received the opportunity to participate in the nationals.
