Here are the teams you'll see at the Senior Worlds this weekend!

Just a few hours remain before the ISU World Synchronized Championships 2024 starts. The competition, which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, will feature 21 teams from 17 different countries. Let's take a look ahead of the kickoff!

Twenty-three teams from numerous country make their way to Lake Placid, New York to Skate at Synchro Worlds. This year, the scores ranged by over sixty points, making the competition fun to watch as a viewer!

Synchro skating can lead to anything... even a wedding!

Stepanka and Frantz-Michael met 9 years ago on the ice before being teammates in a team. She is from the Czech Republic, and he is from France, they are 25 and 26 years old. They now want to work together as synchro coaches and have the project to get married.

US and German teams win gold at Mozart Cup

The second day of the Mozart Cup saw a great competition, especially in the senior division. The American teams kept the lead in the junior division.

Two countries grabbed the lead in Short Programs

The Mozart Cup 2022 started on Friday in Salzburg, Austria. Teams from the United States unsurprisingly dominated the junior competition, while the senior category was more competitive.


COVID-19: Ice rinks closing for 2 weeks in the Czech Republic

The Czech government has imposed new restrictions, closing all indoor sports spaces, including ice rinks. Czech synchro teams will now only be allowed to train outside, or individually at home.

Live performance on roller skates: "This was a bit of a challenge!"

A synchro skater from the Czech team Olympia, Kája Procházková, took part in a live charity cultural event organised by the Police Symphony Orchestra [Police is a town in north-eastern Bohemia, ed.]. As a part of the event, she skated a solo performance on roller skates accompanied by the orchestra.

Senior skaters react to cancellation of Synchro Worlds

The cancellation of the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2020 in Lake Placid because of the coronavirus pandemic brought disappointment in the synchro community. Some skaters are still hoping that the event could be postponed.

Team Unique (FIN), double winner!
