Winterfest held in Brampton, ON is a highly intense competition for any team that enters. A Canadian competition, some teams from the USA have recently attended to compete against some of Canada’s top teams. Winterfest also is Canada’s Junior Worlds qualifier competition, making this one of the most intense weekends of the year for many skaters. On February 24, 2018, NEXXICE Senior captured their 11th Canadian title, securing their ticket with Les Suprêmes to the 2018 World Synchronized Skating Championships.
For the Junior and Senior divisions, the 2018 Mozart Cup took place on Friday and Saturday in the scenic city of Salzburg in Austria. Les Suprêmes (CAN) bring home two medals, in gold and bronze. Teams from Russian, from the USA, and Finland completed the podiums.
