Many synchro fans remember for sure Team Viola, the 2018 Senior British Champions, who competed also in the World Championship last year in Stockholm. Former team coach Katrina Cotterrall agreed to tell us about her experience.

The ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships took place in Stockholm, Sweden, last weekend. If everything seemed to be done after the short programs, Saturday's competition brought a lot of surprises. Trophy d'Ecosse 2018: junior and senior competitions

The Dumfries Ice Bowl, Scotland, was heaving with hoards of excited fans and skaters today with the culmination of the ISU event. 1500 competitor passes had been handed out for the 3 day competition and fans were sitting on steps and stood in crowds at the boards to watch the Junior and Senior events.


Canada, Russia, USA and Finland on the podium in Salzburg

For the Junior and Senior divisions, the 2018 Mozart Cup took place on Friday and Saturday in the scenic city of Salzburg in Austria. Les Suprêmes (CAN) bring home two medals, in gold and bronze. Teams from Russian, from the USA, and Finland completed the podiums. 

Relive the 2018 British Synchronised Skating Championships

1262 competitor passes were handed out at the 2018 British Championships in Nottingham this weekend to the 63 teams gracing the arena in a dazzling display of costumes. Banners were hung and flags flew as families and friends chanted their support from the stands.

Viola Synchronized Skating Competition this weekend in Cardiff

Teams from across the UK braved the snow and ice to take part in the Viola Synchronised Skating Competition at Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff between 9th – 10th December. There were 25 teams skating across 12 categories with teams vying to be Welsh Champions.

Wintercup 2017 witnessed the birth of Belgian Champions

The traditional WinterCup competition took place this weekend in Belgium. No less than 30 teams from eight different countries took part in the competition. In the junior division, the victory went to the Swedes of Team Spirit, a Belgian team, Team Phoenix, won the senior competition.

The first results of the season in Compiègne

Last Saturday, October 28, 2017 marked the beginning of the season for six teams from France, Germany and Great Britain. The competition, based only on the short program, took place in Compiègne in an ice rink just reopened after major renovations.

First competition in France at the Masters in Compiègne

This is the first competition this Saturday for six teams from France but also from Germany and the United Kingdom. Three nations and three categories are represented: Novice Advanced, Senior N1, and Junior N1. This first event is only based on the short program. For the free program, the teams have the opportunity to present their work to the judges on Sunday.
