The best junior teams blew up the scores

Almost 200 points! This is the score obtained by Team Fintastic at the Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy this weekend. The Finnish team won the Junior competition hands down. The Skyliners (USA) took the gold in the Senior division.


Team Unity and Iceskateers Elite defend their titles at the Australian Championships

O'Brien Icehouse in Melbourne hosted 647 skaters across 44 different teams from all across Australia and New Zealand for the Australian Figure Skating Championships. Team Unity reclaimed victory in the Senior division for the third year in a row, while Iceskateers Elite and Iceskateers stood on top of the podium for Junior and Advanced Novice for their second consecutive years respectively.

Australia kicks off the competition season with Sydney Synch Festival

Macquarie Ice Rink hosted the first competition of the Australian synchro calendar, Sydney Synch Festival, on Saturday August 30th and Sunday September 1st, welcoming many new and returning teams across 9 different divisions.

Australia lived its State Championships in New South Wales

As the qualifier event for the Australian Figure Skating Championships, the NSW State Championships are an important competition in the synchro calendar. The top four teams from each division will automatically qualify for Nationals, which will be held in Sydney at the beginning of December. 


The season starts in Australia with Sydney Synch Festival

The Australian competitive season kicked off over the weekend with Sydney Synch Festival - the only major interstate competition outside of the National Championships. The competition is of great value to teams, not only because it is another performance opportunity, but also because it ends with short one-on-one feedback sessions between each team and the Tech Panel, then the Judges.
