The International Skating Union (ISU) made new decisions in early June regarding the synchronized skating competition calendar.

In a recent press release, the ISU decided that the 2023 World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships will be held in Lyon, France.

A new opportunity
"We are delighted that our city has been chosen again to host the World Junior Championships! After the cancellation of the 2021 edition, we were hoping that Lyon would be chosen again. We are looking forward to meeting the best teams in the world and make them discover our beautiful city!" declared the Senior team Les Zoulous, French champions.

Much will still need to be clarified, and fans are hoping that the pandemic will definitely be a thing of the past by then. As a reminder, the 2021 Worlds had to be cancelled due to the Covid.

The Junior Worlds in Lyon will take place on March 10-11, 2023.
