During the 2022 ISU Congress, several changes and adaptations were approved for synchronized skating.

The ISU annual congress is always an important moment for the future of the sport. Last month in Thailand, the members voted a whole series of changes and modifications related to the disciplines, including synchro skating.

One of the most significant changes is the minimum age limit for skaters in the senior category. As with figure skating, the age will be raised starting in the 2023/2024 season.
