The French Cup 2025 concluded this weekend with outstanding performances in both Senior and Junior categories. In the Senior division, Finland's Marigold IceUnity ("MIU") secured the championship title, while in the Junior category, Valley Bay Synchro, also from Finland, emerged victorious.

Marigold IceUnity delivered on Saturday night a compelling performance, leading after the short program with a score of 75.48 points. They further extended their lead in the free skate, earning 142.32 points, culminating in a total score of 217.80! This achievement placed them nearly nine points ahead of Canada's Nexxice, who finished with a total of 208.87 points. Finland's Team Unique secured third place with a total score of 204.54.

This victory follows Marigold IceUnity's recent success at the Dresden Cup in Germany, where they already surpassed notable teams such as the Haydenettes (USA) and Canada's Les Suprêmes. These consecutive wins position them as a dominant force in the 2024–2025 season, signaling their strong return to the top tier of world synchronized skating.

In the Junior division, Valley Bay Synchro secured first place with a total score of 203.47 points. Their fellow Finnish team, Team Fintastic, closely followed with 199.67 points. Canada’s Team Nova claimed third place with 187.23 points.

With 20 teams competing, the Junior event was both thrilling and highly competitive, providing an excellent opportunity for teams to refine their programs with only five weeks remaining before the 2025 Junior World Championships.
Among the standout performances, the Fond du Lac Blades (USA) team delivered a strong showing, finishing just off the podium in fourth place. Their impressive performance made them one of the surprises of the competition and reinforced their potential on the international stage.
