The final day of the 2019 Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships was an exciting one. Nova claimed their second title of the event in Novice, and a Nexxice Open skated to win their 3rd consecutive Canadian championship.

The Novice event was off to a running start, with a Nexxice from Ontario. The team sat in 6th place after the first free program. The team skated a fabulous performance to "The Nutcracker", and improved their score by 8 points to move up to 4th position. The bronze medal was claimed by Gold Ice (Ontario). This is the first national medal for Gold Ice Novice in 10 years. The team earned 68.37 in the second free program and 100.27 overall.

Les Suprêmes earned their third medal of the event, a silver. The team skated to Jumanji earning 71.27 to total 105.06 overall. Nova took their second title of the competition, earning 75.53 to win the event with 108.11.

The Open category was jam packed with fun music, great skating and huge scores. Nexxice took top spot for the 3rd consecutive year earning 98.85 and 147.45 to earn their three-peat. Les Supremes took silver once again, closing the gap to Nexxice with 97.17 and a total score of 143.33. Les Pirouettes skated an entertaining and fast program, earning 93.21. The team finished with 136.10 overall.

Next year the Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships will return to the Winsport Arena in Calgary, Alberta.
