Coaches and managers have been thinking about it for several months now... the themes chosen for the new synchronized skating programs begin to be revealed on social networks. Canada is one of the first countries to make announcements.

Les Suprêmes Senior was one of the first teams to announce one of the themes this season on their Instagram account. The famous team from Saint Léonard (Montreal) chose the very current theme of the environment and climate for their free program. "An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable. Let's be a part of the change," wrote the team.

Their Junior sisters in the family Les Suprêmes have also recently revealed the theme of their new free program. Les Suprêmes Junior, champions of Canada in 2019, will perform this season on the theme of "Matrix".

In British Columbia, the Junior team of the Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Club has also made some announcements in recent days. The theme for the free program will be "Body Talks" and the music promises to be catchy. On the other hand, for the free program, it’s gonna be scary: the team will skate to the music of the horror film "Us" directed by Jordan Peele and released last March.

Teams Gold Ice, who are based in central Ontario, have also made their first revelations. This summer, the free program of the Junior team was unveiled. The team, which finished fourth at the Canadian Nationals, will be transformed into the "Jocker", the well-known evil clown who first appeared in Batman.

Finally, there is also something new for the 2019 Canadian Seniors champions! For its short program, Nova Senior will skate this season to the music of the French singer Charles Aznavour who died last year. Some of his legendary titles could give you chills in the arenas next season.

As we are in the middle of August, several teams still keep the themes chosen for their programs this season. The first clues could be revealed soon on the social networks of the teams.
