Despite finishing second at the Dresden Cup last weekend, Les Suprêmes Senior remain focused on their long-term goals. The reigning world champions acknowledge that mistakes in their free program were costly but view the experience as part of their growth this season. With adjustments already in place, they are determined to keep improving ahead of their next competition in Boston.

Hi Les Suprêmes Senior! What is your reaction after finishing second at the Dresden Cup last weekend?
Les Suprêmes: "Our mistakes in the free program were costly but that is part of competition and the process of a season. We will continue working hard and improving our technical score in the future. We'd also like to add that the organization of the competition was amazing and we had a blast visiting the beautiful city of Dresden!"

What happened during the Free Skating program, and how did the two falls impact your performance?
"Unfortunately we had two falls during the free skate which both counted during elements. This was costly since it also affected our bottom program components score. Our focus may have been impacted for an instant after the first fall but we regrouped quickly until the end."

Despite the setbacks, what aspects of your performance are you most proud of?
"We are most proud of the improvements we made within a week since nationals. We focused and set goals for certain elements and worked hard throughout the week to see a difference in Dresden."

How did you handle the pressure of being the reigning world champions in this competition?
"Being the reigning world champions was not our focus. We focused on the present and our specific goals for this competition."

What lessons will you take from this event as you move forward in the season?
"We will continue working hard on both programs. Our free program is a very challenging program, full of tricks and difficulties in addition to the difficult rules this season. We will use the feedback to continue growing as we are not at our peak yet and every performance is a lesson."

What are your next steps in preparing for the upcoming competitions?
"We already made a few modifications to ensure we reach our technical levels in Boston. Certain elements got called differently throughout the season so we made sure to make everything clear."

Next stop: Boston
Les Suprêmes Senior will compete next at the 2025 U.S. Synchronized Skating International Classic in Boston (Feb. 7–8) alongside top teams like Helsinki Rockettes (FIN), Team Unique (FIN), Haydenettes (USA), and Skyliners (USA).
