The winner of the competition, Marigold IceUnity (FIN), earned 80.76 points with their interesting short program “Why not”. The team skated a very strong and clean program and they succeeded well in their interpretation of the Olympic ceremonial music.

Only 1,49 points behind the winner, came Team Paradise (RUS), with 79.27 points. The team skated a beautiful and classical short program with smooth movements and a strong involvement with the music, "Nocturne Cis-Moll" by Chopin. Their performance was touching and sure with light dresses.

The bronze medallist, Team Unique (FIN), earned 73.64 points with their stunning hip-hop program “Music makez me…”. The performance was speedy and full of attitude. The theme was completed with a colorful trouser suit.

Helsinki Rockettes (FIN) performed a Parisian style short program “Symphony of passion” and earned 70.44 points. A strong interpretation of the music, elegant choreography and the dark red dresses with lace was a great combo.
rnThe fifth team was Tatarstan (RUS) with 66.85 points. The dresses fit well together with the rather emotional music "Ave Maria". The team showed a very strong performance.
rnOnly 0.2 points behind Tatarstan came the third (and brand new) Russian team Crystal Ice (66.55). The team performed a clean and dramatic short program to the music "Lacrymosa" with sparkling black dresses.
rnLumineers’ short program was “Raven” and they earned 64.78 points. The program was dark and stylish with a mysterious choreography.

In the competition, we could see varying programs, music, and dresses; drama, elegance, power. All teams performed well, there were no falls. Still, all teams have much work to do and it will be exciting to see how the teams will continue forward with improving their programs.
