First of all, how was your week in Finland?
Haydenettes (USA) : "We had an amazing time in Finland! The competition was run so smoothly and the volunteers were so welcoming. We spent some time training in Turku before heading to Helsinki. Upon arriving in Helsinki, we had fun exploring the city in our free time."

How did it feel to step onto the World podium again this year?
"It is an incredible honor to be able to accomplish a podium position for the second season in a row. We have such appreciation for our competitors, sharing the ice and podium with them means so much. We feel it is important not to create too much pressure from past accomplishments, but at the end of the day this was always the goal for the season. It is so rewarding to be recognized for all our hard work this season while also relishing in our last moments together as a team."

What do you feel were your biggest improvements or growth areas since last season?
"Since last season, we have tried to push the envelope in terms of creative choreography and story telling through our program concepts. We feel adaptability and resilience were our greatest strengths this season as we faced challenges associated with new elements and rules. Experiences such as illness, injury, and choreography changes tested our mental toughness throughout the year, but made us stronger as a team and our success so rewarding."

What was your favorite memory from the Worlds experience in Helsinki?
"One of our favorite parts of Worlds in Helsinki will always be the amazing crowd. They were so energetic and supportive, fueling us with adrenaline and making us feel at home on the ice. Additionally, we enjoyed the new additions to the atmosphere of the World Championships such as the dim lights for warm up, sharing facts about each team, the LED kiss n cry, and utilization of the Jumbotron!"

Preparing for the intensity of Worlds
What helped you stay focused and confident under pressure at such a high-level event? Also with the very loud crowd!
"Going into every event, we always practice staying in our bubble and focusing on trusting our training. For this event, we knew this would be important because of the excitement and pressure surrounding a World Championships, especially in front of such an amazing crowd. Embracing the message of having nothing to lose helped us enjoy the performance and experience as a whole.

In addition, we had practiced performing in front of a large crowd at the World Figure Skating Championships Gala in Boston less than a week before we took the ice in Helsinki. This experience really prepared us for the large, loud crowd and grounded us before our final competition of the season."

What’s next for you? Are there any goals already taking shape for the upcoming season?
"Next season, we hope to build on the momentum we have been generating for ourselves and grow our confidence on international ice. We are excited to get back to work to improve our performance, unity, and creativity!"
