After a season of growth and learning, Cool Dreams Junior is turning the page with ambition. With 10 new skaters joining the team and preparations already underway, the Swiss team is aiming to strengthen its unity, refine its performances, and make a strong impression in 2026 at the Junior World Championships.

Reflecting on their past season, the team expressed pride in their progress. "We went through ups and downs, but looking back, we learned a lot and grew together," the skaters shared. This mindset sets the tone for a season that promises to be about cohesion and technical consistency.

The team is led by head coach Tanja Schneider, a long-time member of the Cool Dreams organization. She is joined by assistant coach Nadine Banholzer, who brings valuable insights from her time with Nexxice in Canada and her own background as a Cool Dreams skater. Gert Hofmann, who also serves as the head coach of Team Berlin 1, contributes as choreographer. Off the ice, specialists support the team in strength, flexibility, coordination, and mental preparation.

Looking ahead to Junior Worlds
Cool Dreams Junior has secured a coveted spot at the Junior World Championships next season. With only one skater having prior experience at this level, the team acknowledges the challenge ahead.

"It’s a big honour and a great motivation for everyone to skate at an event like that," they said. Preparations include intense on-ice and off-ice training focused on both fundamentals and performance quality.

Summer training centers around mastering the basics on ice, while off the ice, the skaters work on physical conditioning and mental skills. Program choreography will begin later in the summer. A team training weekend will serve as a cornerstone to develop cohesion and focus on upcoming routines. Although they won’t attend external camps, Cool Dreams Junior is maintaining momentum through regular practices and social activities that strengthen team spirit.

The primary goal for the season is to build a solid and united team capable of delivering strong performances from the beginning of the competition calendar. The team is targeting strong placements nationally and internationally. So let's keep an eye on them this winter!
