Lumière Cup starts today in the Netherlands

This is a great day for synchro skaters from Netherlands. The very first Lumière Cup is about to begin in Eindhoven, a city located close to the German and Belgium borders. Teams from many different countries will competed this weekend in the IJssportcentrum. Interview with the chairman of the organizing committee.
The Lumière Cup is coming soon… Is everything ready?
Ellie van Soest: Well, almost ready. Than, you are never totally ready. But ready enough to welcome the teams which are competing. We are eager to make it as perfect as possible.
How many teams are registered?
Ellie van Soest: This year, 24 teams from 7 countries are engaged and will skate in Eindhoven.
This is the first time that this competition is organized, what is the most exciting moment for you?
Ellie van Soest: Most exciting is to welcome so many different nationalities. We hope to be able to organize every year from now on, so our goal is even more different countries and more teams to participate at Lumière Cup.
Why is this competition so special in Eindhoven?
Ellie van Soest: This is the first time there is a competition for synchronized skating in Eindhoven and our beautiful icerink. This is the biggest synchronized skating competition at this moment in The Netherlands!
The Lumiere Cup takes place on Friday and Saturday in the Netherlands.
