As the 2023 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships has come to a close, numerous teams rewrote history in their organizations. Between all the clean skates, exciting programs, and the advanced technical features from last season, the competition was close. Yet, multiple teams rose to the occasion, and came home with some hardware.

Here are some monumental moments from Peoria, Illinois last weekend:

Senior
- The Haydenettes notched their thirtieth Senior title in program history. As the most successful active Senior team, they are looking to continue this success at Worlds in their home country later this month.

- Haydenettes are joined by Miami University Senior for the World Team for the second straight season. The RedHawks also earned their season-best combined score of 223.63 to help give them that push for the World Team.

- Teams Elite made their Senior Nationals debut last weekend, which ended up in a podium finish. In their rookie year, Teams Elite kept up with numerous veterans, including a gold medal at the French Cup.

Junior
Although the World Team has already been determined for this weekend, the Junior division was one of the most fun to watch. With ten teams competing, the competition was tight.

- Coming into first place was Skyliners Junior, who made history by winning the most National titles for any U.S. Junior team. With seven titles, they broke the tie between them and Chicago Jazz.

- Following Skyliners, Team Image was right behind, after earning their highest free program and total combined score this season.

- Teams Elite Junior continued their medal streak after placing fourth overall. The team has medaled every time at Nationals since their debut season in 2019.

Collegiate
- For the 21st time in program history, Miami University Collegiate won a National championship. The Ohio-based school was the only school to break the 100-point mark and won the competition by twelve points.

- The next three teams that made the podium were all midwest teams, making this the second consecutive year of this occurrence.

- The pewter medal team, Trine University, won their first national medal in program history. This was also the first season that Trine has won a medal at sectionals earlier this year.
