The third stage of the Challenger Series began on Saturday in a huge and beautiful ice rink. 17 teams skated at the Marie Lundmark Trophy, in Turku, Finland.
The second day of the first Finnish qualifications in Tampere offered great performances in every category. The final order of Seniors remained the same, but the rankings of Juniors changed, and Novices showed some great performances.
The event took place in sunny Turku last weekend. Altogether 91 teams and about 2200 skaters competed in eight categories. One more time during this season the audience was allowed to enjoy the spectrum of fantastic performances.
The three day Trophy D’Ecosse kicked started this weekend at Dumfries Ice Bowl Leisure Complex, Dumfries, Scotland, comprising of 44 teams. Encompassing the Scottish Championships, teams were also vying for their national title. Friday and Saturday saw the Junior and Senior categories and the non-ISU categories were interspersed throughout the weekend.
On Sunday, more than 30 teams competed at the Loppi-Ice 2020, hosted in the Gatorade Center in Turku, a city on the southwest coast of Finland. With Junior and Novice ISU, this competition gathered also younger categories.
The first National Synchronized Skating Qualification in Finland started today in Espoo. After the short programs on Saturday, Team Unique leads the Senior competition. In Juniors, Team Fintastic took the first place and Finettes is the winner of today´s Novice competition.
