More synchro teams took part in the 2018 Lumière Cup

The second edition of the Lumière Cup has been organized last weekend in Eindhoven, a city in the Netherlands in a great atmosphere. More than 30 teams took part in this event. It’s 10 more than for the first edition last year. 

 

In the Senior ISU category, the local Team Illumination won the competition with 108.11 points. Phoenix from Belgium placed second (97.05 points) and Team Ice United (NED) finished with the bronze medal. Only 3 teams entered in this division. 

Three teams also competed in the Junior B event. Le Soleil from Poland did the best score (51.88 points). Two Belgian teams completed the podium: Team Ixia earned the silver title and Team Ice Fever. In the Junior ISU division, Team Illuminettes won the competition. 



The Polish teams also won the Pre-Juvenile event this weekend. Ice Fire and Le Soleil finished at the top of the podium. Team Illumiloops placed 3rd and Ice Spirit Stars finished 4th. 

One of the most popular and interesting division was for sure the Mixed Age: 13 teams presented their free program. The victory went to Team Butterfl’ice from Germany with a total of 42.95 points. They are followed by Ice Lions Batumi from Georgia (39.39) and Team New Horizons from Mannheim who earned 36.01 points. The other participating teams came from Belgium, Italy, Poland and the Netherlands.
