Day two looked very different from day one. Another energy. Big resilience. It was about who could answer under pressure.
The famous Canadian team Les SuprĂŞmes had the advantage after Friday and used it well. Their free skate was not the strongest of the evening, but it was strong enough to protect the lead they had built in the short program. The battle for the medals stayed open until the final skates.
The Haydenettes (USA) did what they needed to do. Their free skate was clean, musical and well controlled. It was a strong performance, with quality and consistency from start to finish. But on this night, it was not enough to move ahead of Les SuprĂŞmes. The Canadian team had done the hard work on Friday and stayed composed on Saturday.
The biggest push came from the Finnish teams.
Helsinki Rockettes (FIN), only fourth after the short program, came back with the best free skate of the event. It was the kind of performance that changed the mood in the arena and put them back on the World podium.
Team Unique (FIN) also produced a major response. After a very difficult short program, the team came back impressively with a powerful and confident free skate. Their reaction was one of the strongest moments of the competition!

Just behind them, Nova Senior (CAN) could still leave Salzburg with an important result. The team did not hold on to its podium place this time, but it delivered its best total ever at the World Championships. That matters too.
Team Skyliners (USA), meanwhile, stayed in the top six with a program full of difficulty and ambition. Even with mistakes, they kept their place among the leading teams.
Behind the top six, the free skate also changed the shape of the next group. Team Berlin 1 (GER) could not quite keep the same control as in the short program, while Team Ice on Fire (ITA) used a more ambitious and dramatic free skate to move up.
Team Inspire (SWE) stayed very close from the Italians with another convincing performance, full of speed, confidence and modern style. Team Passion (HUN), for its part, remained steady across both days and confirmed its place in the top ten.
From 11th to 15th, the free skate settled a dense middle pack
Hot Shivers (ITA) and Team Olympia (CZE) held their positions with two solid free skates. Both teams looked well prepared and stayed in control.
Ice Fire (POL) moved up one place thanks to a stronger overall skate, even with one fall. Cool Dreams (SUI) lost some ground in a dramatic program that needed full control from start to finish.
Jingu Ice Messengers (JPN) also had a better skate than on Friday. The team showed more speed and better flow, but it was not enough to move higher in the standings.
The free skate also showed which teams were able to respond after a difficult short program.
United Angels (GER) moved up one place with a free skate without deduction. Les Zoulous (FRA) also came back with a stronger performance than on day one. Their skate had more control and more commitment, even if one error still affected the final result.
Team Icicles (GBR), by contrast, started well but lost momentum at the end. Three falls in the second half of the program made the difference. In this part of the field, the key was often not the base level of the teams, but the ability to finish the program cleanly.
The last part of the standings also tells another story. Team Ice United (NED) kept its style, with a free skate that was dynamic and creative despite one fall. Team Unity (AUS) delivered a clean and positive performance.
Colibris Vienna Senior (AUT), still a young team, showed good energy but paid for its mistakes on home ice. Team Fusion (ESP), first to skate, had the difficult task of opening the free skating event and did so with commitment.
