What you need to know about Foot of the Lake and Colonial Classic

Two major synchronized skating competitions took place last weekend in the USA: the annual Foot of the Lake Synchronized Skating Classic and the 34th Annual Colonial Classic in Lowell, MA. Here are the basics of what you need to know about these exciting events.


The Most Exciting US Nationals

History was made at the most recent US Nationals held in Portland, Oregon. Teams came all across the country to compete in the event. Stakes were high, but tensions higher.

Canada, Russia, USA and Finland on the podium in Salzburg

For the Junior and Senior divisions, the 2018 Mozart Cup took place on Friday and Saturday in the scenic city of Salzburg in Austria. Les Suprêmes (CAN) bring home two medals, in gold and bronze. Teams from Russian, from the USA, and Finland completed the podiums. 

Skyliners and Lexettes will represent the United States at the Junior Worlds

The names of the two qualified teams have been released. Skyliners, representing the Skating Club of New York and Springdale Figure Skating Club and Lexettes from Lexington (MA) will represent their country at the next Junior Worlds in Canada.

Sunday at the 2016 Neuchâtel Trophy

Sunday was the day of free programs for the participating teams. 7 Senior, 8 Junior, and 4 Mixed Age teams presented their work at Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The competition meant for the Swiss teams their National Championships.

Saturday at the 2016 Neuchâtel Trophy

The city of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland, hosted an intense synchro skating competition day. Countries as Finland, Canada, United States of America, France, Germany or Italy were represented. This international event also represented for the Swiss teams their National Championships.

Porter Classic 2015 - 160 teams, an incredible competition

20th annual Dr. Richard Porter Classic is one of the largest competitions of the season in the U.S. This competition takes place this weekend (4 - 6, Dec 2015) at Ann Arbor, a city in the state of Michigan. More than 160 teams compete during 3 days.
