The city of Neuchâtel hosted nice skating in Neuchâtel on Friday afternoon. 23 teams from Russia, Canada, the United States, all of Europe but also Australia skated their short program on this first day of competition.

Day two of the 2019 Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships was truly a fairytale for Nova Senior who took the gold medal on Saturday evening. For the first time in more than a decade, a newly formed team won the Nationals.

Winterfest held in Brampton, ON is a highly intense competition for any team that enters. A Canadian competition, some teams from the USA have recently attended to compete against some of Canada’s top teams. Winterfest also is Canada’s Junior Worlds qualifier competition, making this one of the most intense weekends of the year for many skaters.
